Can’t Find FAFSA® Form

You may have received an invitation to a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, but haven’t been able to find the student’s form after logging in.

This issue can happen if the information in the invitation, such as your name, Social Security number, or address, doesn’t exactly match the personal information you provided when creating your StudentAid.gov account.

If you can’t find the student’s form after logging in to your account, follow these steps:

    • Log in to StudentAid.gov, and make sure the personal information in your account is correct and up-to-date. If necessary, you can update your information by going to “Account Settings” and updating the information under “Personal Information.”

    • Check with the person who invited you to make sure they entered your information correctly when inviting you.

    • If you think they made a mistake when entering your personal information, ask them to send a new invitation using the correct information.

Note: The person sending the invitation must enter your personal information exactly as you entered it when you created or updated your StudentAid.gov account. Differences as small as a missing period or using “Road” instead of “Rd” can cause issues when you try to find and access the student’s FAFSA form.
